Old Hall is a Grade II listed building and provides rustic, comfortable self-catering
accommodation of a very high standard for 6 people. It is a wonderful setting
for holidays in the glorious Yorkshire Dales.
Situated in an elevated position overlooking the pretty village of Bainbridge, The Old Hall is a wonderfully spacious and characterful detached property, with its origins in the 15th, but is mainly 17th-century. All modern-day conveniences, including central heating, complement the log/coal burner, flagged floors, beamed ceilings and many items of period furniture to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment.

The Old Hall is owned by Keith who is an experienced ex hotelier and as such he knows what his customers want and goes to great lengths to provide it. He has very successfully operated through a letting agency for the past seven years but now needs to be more flexible, so please use our enquiry form to ask about off-season and un-let weeks availability for Bed and Breakfast. "The Old Hall is, well - 'old' - and as a consequence there are no 'picture windows' so it's not that bright and, as open fires do, it sometimes 'smuts' a bit, and some windows may not fit like double glazing. So, as intimated when moved to respond to a comment in the visitors book pointing out that although it was nice, it was dark, the staircase was a bit steep and the windows small and sometimes a tad draughty when the wind blows, one of our subsequent guests wrote "this is not a purpose built semi in Milton Keynes". Apologies to any MK residents but that's what they said. As a matter of fact I actually quite like Milton Keynes but that's not the issue. It gave me a chuckle and made the point that if anyone wanted suburban standards, that's not The Old Hall.
